Chemical Composition:
- Mo: ≥99.5% (matrix)
- Trace additions: La₂O₃ / Y₂O₃ and other rare earth oxides for dispersion strengthening
- Impurities: C, O, N, Fe, Ni, etc., strictly controlled to ensure high-temperature cleanliness and non-volatile contamination
Key Physical and Mechanical Properties
(1) Thermal Properties
- Melting point: approx. 2620°C
- Coefficient of thermal expansion: ≈ 5.1×10⁻⁶ /°C (room temperature to 1000°C)
- Thermal conductivity: high, close to that of pure molybdenum, ensuring uniform heating and avoiding local overheating
(2) High-Temperature Mechanical Properties
- High-temperature creep resistance: far superior to Mo1, TZM, and conventional high-temperature molybdenum
- Long-term load bearing at 1600°C: virtually no bending, sagging, or collapsing
- Thermal shock stability: excellent, resistant to cracking under repeated heating and cooling cycles
- Load life: 3 to 10 times that of ordinary pure molybdenum
(3) General Mechanical Properties
- Density: ≈ 10.2 g/cm³
- Hardness: relatively high, stable in the rolled state
- Strength: high at room temperature, with extremely high strength retention at elevated temperatures
(4) Atmosphere Limitations
- Recommended atmospheres: vacuum, hydrogen, inert gases (Ar)
Manufacturing Capabilities
- Thickness: Our company can produce molybdenum plates with thicknesses ≥0.5 mm that remain distortion-free
