What is pure molybdenum wire?

Pure molybdenum wire is a special metal filament made of ultra-high purity molybdenum (Mo ≥ 99.95%) as the main component through powder metallurgy process (including pressing, sintering, forging and multi-pass drawing). This material exhibits excellent structural stability in high temperature environment, and has excellent electrical and thermal conductivity and outstanding corrosion resistance. 1. Preparation process of pure molybdenum wire

Pressing: Press molybdenum powder into rod blanks.

Sintering: High temperature sintering in hydrogen atmosphere.

Forging and rolling: Wire blanks are made by hot forging and hot rolling.

Wire drawing: After multiple cold drawing, the molybdenum wire of the required diameter is finally obtained.
